With over 30 years in organic waste management, Wasfi Abu Mughli specializes in transforming organic materials into sustainable resources. As the founder and CEO of Wasfi Abumughli Est. for Organic Solutions, he offers consultancy in project planning, compliance, and certification, emphasizing high-quality compost production and sustainable practices.

Previously, Wasfi held leadership roles, including Senior Manager at Oman Wastewater Services Co., where he managed a 20,000-ton-per-year composting plant, and founded White Buttons Est., the region’s first fungi biotechnology company. He has consulted for prominent organizations like Edama Organic Solutions, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, GIZ, and UNDP, contributing to innovative waste management projects.

Wasfi holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Far Eastern University, Manila – Philippines, (1985 – 1987) and a master’s degree in microbiology from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila – Philippines, (1987 – 1989). Wasfi’s scientific expertise and practical experience have made him a leader in sustainable development and organic recycling.
