Sultan Al-Mashaqbah is the Director of the Programme Management Directorate (PMD-PMU) at the Water Authority of Jordan, where he has been leading initiatives since August 2020 to enhance operational efficiency and implement sustainable water management practices. The PMD mandate also including management of strategic projects in Water Sector including the management of major BOT Projects (Disi and As Samra), NRW projects, and EE and RE Projects. With over 23 years of experience in the water sector, Sultan has a proven track record in project management, and public-private partnerships, notably overseeing the As Samra Wastewater Treatment Plant project. He holds an MBA and Master in Environmental Engineering (Wastewater processes and Technology) and multiple certifications in project management, environmental engineering and PPP. Sultan is recognized for his visionary leadership and ability to drive technological and managerial advancements in the water sector.
